I have made quorn chilli in the slow cooker, I just throw everything in together and leave it. I just do an old Slimming World recipe, which was just about free on green days. Just quorn, onions, garlic (I think) chopped tomatoes, stock, kidney beans, green chillis, coriander, cumin, paprika and cayenne pepper... chuck it all in and leave. STEP 1. Heat the oil in a heavy-based pan. Cook the onion for 10 mins until softened and starting to caramelise. Add the garlic and spices and cook for a further 1-2 mins. STEP 2. Transfer to a slow cooker, along with the diced vegetables, mince, chopped tomatoes, stock cube and tomato purée. Stir well. Move to slow cooker and add ground turmeric, cumin, and coriander, chili powder, and salt. Mix in tomato puree, then stir in chickpeas, diced tomatoes, and vegetable stock. Slow cook on high for 3 hours, then mix in garam masala and Quorn pieces and cook a further 30 minutes or until Quorn is hot through. Number of Servings: 3 Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large frying pan over a high heat, add the aubergine and fry for 5 minutes, stirring, until browned. Transfer to the slow cooker. Add the remaining oil to the frying pan and fry the onion, garlic, carrot and spices for 5 minutes over a medium heat until slightly softened.
