Keno - Practical Guide and Game Tips

Keno - Practical Guide and Game Tips
Keno is a game of chance very similar to bingo and lottery, although it is a much faster modality. It seems that this game comes from China, although during the nineteenth century its popularity spread throughout the United States. Today, thanks to online casinos, this traditional game is once again in high demand. Keno is one of the simplest games of chance that exists, in addition, the speed of the games and the large prizes that can be distributed make this game especially attractive for many users. Likewise, there are several modes of this game depending on the provider that developed it, choose the one you like the most and have fun comfortably from home.

Game operation
Online Keno is a game of chance that is played with 80 number cards. In these cards the user must select a maximum of 15 numbers, however, some casinos allow players to select up to 20 numbers. The selected numbers are also known as "spots". Once you have selected the numbers you must choose the amount of money you want to bet and wait for the winning numbers to be revealed.
The objective of the game is that the numbers of the draw match the numbers that you have selected on your card. The more numbers you choose, the greater the prize you can win, although on the other hand, the chances of winning it will also decrease. You will be able to see in the pay table the prizes available depending on the number of numbers you choose.
Different bets
In some forms of Keno, different bets are allowed:
Classic bet is selected from 1 to 15 numbers and the more numbers that match those of the draw, the greater the prize.
Bet against 8 or more numbers are chosen and if these do not appear in the draw, the bet is won.
All winners à are chosen from 2 to 7 numbers and the bet is won if they do not come out in the draw.
High Roller à a sequence of numbers is chosen and if they come out in the draw the prizes are doubled
Higher or lower than you can bet on numbers lower or higher than X and depending on the risk taken you can achieve a higher or lower profit.
Types of Cards
There are several types of cards to play keno, each with its different peculiarities. It is very important that you know them before you start playing. Here we explain the characteristics of each one:
Normal cards
This type of card has 80 numbers and as a general rule you can select between 1 and 15 numbers. However, some casinos will allow you to choose up to 20 numbers. It may also be the case that you have to choose a minimum of 3 numbers.
Combination cards
You can match more than one card to form combinations and thus have a better chance of winning. However, each combination will have an extra cost of one unit.
Split cards
By playing with a split card you will be able to play two games or more on the same Keno card. To do this you will have to choose 2 groups of numbers and divide them with circles or a line.
Way cards
You can bet on several groups of numbers on the same card. This way you can play multiple groups without having to have a lot of different cards. It is much simpler and easier to control.
Tips
  • Play first in demo mode. In this way you will be able to see how the game works and know what the peculiarities of that particular mode are.
  • Take advantage of the bonuses offered by online casinos to get the most out of the game.
  • It is recommended not to bet the minimum or the maximum number of numbers due to the low prize you will receive in the first case and the difficulty of being able to win in the second case.
  • Choose the casino in which the prizes are highest. Although always make sure you are on a safe and quality gaming portal.
  • Never bet more money than you can afford to lose and play responsibly
